What do the verification badges actually mean?

Question

Accepted Answer

A badge reflects a check against a named regulator's public register — CQC, NMC, GPhC, GDC, HCPC or GMC — and it is re-checked on a schedule rather than being a one-off at sign-up. Green means the register matched at the last check; amber means something did not line up; red means the check failed. A badge is evidence about registration, not a recommendation of clinical quality.
